Okay so it’s not exactly photo gear, but I’ll sure be taking pictures while using these new toys.
And my super duper home made ice pike walking stick. I made one because even at $250 the commercial ones didn’t seem strong enough or easy enough to use with big mittens.

five point ice pikes, that’s right that’s an ice pike for a cane that’s been screwed into a dowel in the end of the tube. It works very very well.
It might not be pretty but it sure works.
