Just Because I Bought A Fast Lens Doesn't Mean I Don't Want VR

Just because I bought a fast lens doesn’t mean I don’t want VR (Vibration Reduction AKA IS, VC, etc.) Okay so technically the lens pictures was a gift, but it still applies. I really wish lens manufactures would realize that just because the lens goes to f/1.8 or something doesn’t mean I’ll always be shooting at that, and when I’m using it at f/5.6 I’d like some VR damn it. If Nikon can make an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 with VR and 11 elements in 8 groups and sell it for for ~$169 CAD, I don’t see why a 35mm f/1.8 with 8 elements in 6 groups for ~$269 CAD can’t have VR .
