I recently went camping in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. While I was there I took some pictures and I thought I’d share them over a few posts as I get them processed; this is the second of those posts. This is also the second half of the Sarrail falls pictures. The first half can be found here.
These photos were taken above the main falls. If you want to go here you leave the trail and climb up the banks next to the falls. It’s very nice up there, but depending on recent weather it could be very unsafe to do so, or gross. As it happens it was quite mucky and nasty while I was there. I decided to do it anyways because darn if exploring isn’t worth muddy feet… hands… pants… shirt… and camera bag.
If you do decide to go, try not to step on the moss or small plants; use the roots, rocks, and dirt to prevent killing the moss which makes this place so nice.
